After the nuts are removed from the Hall's, the almond is dried and prepared for shipment to nut markets before Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.



A bowl of of Nonpareil almond kernels is a excellent snack that contains many vitamins and minerals.



The Halls Hardy almond blooms late enough in the season to escape harmful late Spring frosts. Many nuts of the Hall Hardy almond are formed after two or three seasons of tree growth.

Perfection


Once the Perfection Mayhaw was only known as a thorny berry fruit that grew on trees in the swamps that produced bushels of floating red berries in May that could be easily scooped up with nets out of rivers, creeks and lakes for jelly making. Much of this activity took place near Colquitt, Georgia where tons of the mayhaw jelly was sought out by gourmets for the traditional breakfast use on hot buttered toast or biscuits.
